Sorry I've been so long responding. I couldn't get on to post on TBN. Anyway, the book has the clutch in a jig, but same principle applies to it bolted on the flywheel. With the cover cinched down to the flywheel, there should be a gap between the PTO bolts and the pressure plate on top of 0.035-0.039".
Look at the main clutch throw out fingers to be even with each other as well.
Without any tooling, this will get it pretty close to what you need.
