I'm John, British and I'm a retired engineer. My wife of almost 10 years is Yufang and she's Chinese. We met on the internet after both of us went through painful divorces. We have retired from the UK to the south west of France in the beautiful Dordogne region and we're about 120 miles east of Bordeaux. We have about 4 acres of mixed farmland and woodland. We don't grow anything other than we've just established a small vineyard for making our own wine, about 200 plants are due to go in as soon as the rain stops. Yufang was an engineer in the wine industry in China, so she has a head start with the knowledge of how wine is produced.
Both of us lived close to a city all our lives so we're happy to enjoy the view from our house of the open fields and forest without feeling a need to farm the land. We have several implements for the Kubota BX2350; cargo box, rear mount mower, flail mower, rotavator, log saw and wood chipper. The reason I've joined this website is due to me searching for a quick change system for all the implements, as its a pain struggling to line up so many changes each week. I stumbled upon this website by accident and I'm so pleased I've found a forum where the information I need about lots of tractor issues is shared, especially as I'm new to tractors.
I also have a nice collection of boxer BMW's from back in my wilder days as well as an 1800 Goldwing.
