Hi bought a 1991 John deere 970 diesel tractor in Whiteville N.C. Never had a diesel before. Hopefully I can learn much about it and how to maintain it through all the members experiences. Thank You

hay i saw that your new to this website i am to one thing i know about diesels TRY AT ALL MEANS NOT TO USE STARTING FLUID ON THIM unles you whout to ruin the engine trust me on that and do not run out of gas or i should say diesel that can also ruin your engine I hope my info can help from trobel in the fuicher
