Hello all.
I am am a Kubota Owner, for the past 13 years the proud owner operator of a B7610. I used this to maintain my driveways and a 3 +/- acre farm. I used the the B7610 to move, lift, and palletize about 20 cord of firewood a year; and in Maine, snow removal. The B7610 i believe is a 24 horse tractor, horsepower never was the issue; lift capacity and tractor weight were an issue. I used a Meyer 6.9 foot plow (no hydraulics angle was manual), for snow removal. I also burn wood pellets in a pellet boiler. I have pellets dropped off several ton at a time. I was over working the 7610 moving pallets weighing just over 600 lbs (15, 40 lbs bags). This is one little workhorse of a tractor. I truly enjoyed this tractor. I turn 60 this year and I want the tractor to start working harder so I can start working smarter.
To accomplish this:
I just purchased an L2501 w/a heated cab. (cab is backordered till late January) I am impressed with its ability to move snow and lift piles of snow. I have a 7.9 foot Fisher snow plow, loader and Land Pride Pallet Forks. My new L2501 seems to have plenty of power for my needs. I am getting ready to order another 4 tons of wood pellets I hope to be able to move at least a half ton at a time. I will update this post once I have moved the pellets.
At this writing I have approximately an hour on the L2501.
