Welcome to TBN and the forum, runrabbit. One of the greatest things I've learned here on TBN - the value of others experiences. There are so many things that a person, new to tractors, can experience. Many are not good. Take what others will say to heart - you might not have to learn thru your own trials.

There is a lot of very knowledgeable people on this site. While experience is the best teacher, it is also very good not to have to experience all the bad things that others learned the hard way.
