Wow! We need a link to him. I didn't know there were any for sale on the west coast.

Other than Fredricks, the west coast tends to have the most Yanmar tillers for the YM Series.

Welcome aboard! :)

One thing to watch for if you find a Yanmar (Japan) original tiller, it needs the original special hinged top link so it doesn't raise the tiller into the tires. Insist that the seller provide this, and the pto driveline.

What you want is the small structure that bolts to the tractor's top link bracket and extends to the rear, then a very short ordinary adjustable top link. This geometry raises the tiller straight up instead of in an arc.

A common US tiller doesn't need this, but will be more expensive.

You're going to love your Yanmar. We need photos!

Yes, that SPECIAL top-link is VERY IMPORTANT.

I have 3 huge charts that shows what tiller was engineered by Yanmar to fit ANY of the YM Series machines. These were scanned and not of the best quality. It's on my list to-do, but like Ernie has mentioned, few people were ever interested in Yanmar tillers. BUT - who knew today that the C19 with shortages and people looking at costs would now jump at a chance for a Yanmar imported tiller. Seems there is a rising demand after all for them.

In the country, I'm not near any port-of-entry to take advantage of snagging a deal on an imported Yanmar tiller, sad to say. Thus, I'm stuck with Ag box store offerings. It would be great to get a Yanmar tiller for my machine too.

Thanks! I'm going in a slightly different direction and getting a used Country Line tiller locally. Also ordered a Pirahana Tooth Bar!
