Thanks for letting me join. I have been operating a 1976 MF255 for the past 4 years and it's been a pretty good tractor. The 236 loader that I found on Facebook marketplace had been poorly modified by a previous owner. Even not being a welder I can tell how bad the welds are and I'm not surprised at it falling apart.
My first time on this tractor was about 20 years ago when helping our grandfather load bales of hay on the wagon. He was in his mid 70's and could out work me. They just don't make them like that anymore. Just like this tractor.
