I have wanted a sharp knife cutter for a while. Even though I love it, I can't afford a Cimaf (Yet), so I had to make something else happen.

Working with Loftness, I bought a Timber Axe rotor, and put it in a G1 Carbide cutter frame. For those of you who know anything about the Timber Axe and the carbide cutter, they spin different directions.

I like the Carbide cutter, and I like the Timber Axe, but they are two different heads, for different jobs.

After putting the Timber Axe rotor in the G1 frame and making it spin forward- WOW! This thing is unreal. I know statements are no good without pictures to back it up, and there is an attempt attached to this message. No lie, we have been able to cut 12-15" Sweet gum trees with this thing. It is at least twice as fast as the G1 Carbide, and the finished product is awesome!

To give Cimaf it's props- That is still the baddest head I have ever run, but this thing comes in a very close second, and for a whole lot less money.

The movie file is too large to upload, so I will try to get it on my website tonight if you guys would like to see it.
