New MX5100 has arrived

Just took delivery of a new MX5100 HST. Only been able to put about 3 hours on it so far, but really like the power on this tractor. The HST has been great.

Only complaint so far is the 3pt hitch is pretty jerky when raising slowly or in small increments. Smooth when lowering, but bounces the tractor pretty good when raising.

Any other MX5100 owners have a jerky 3pt hitch?

Sharp rig! I've never had any problem with my 3pt. If I'm smooth it's smooth. If I'm not smooth though neither is it. I'm sure you'll be nothing but pleased with that tractor.

Congratulations on your new tractor, very nice set up.

There are several MX5100 owners on here and I have never heard of a jerky hitch on one. bigbull338 is the only one I can think of off hand but I know there are a lot of others, I really think that tractor is one of the best buys out there.

I have had no issues with my 3 point lift. You might try fooling around with the adjustment knob a little to see if that has any effect. I wouldn't think that it would, but it won't take but a minute or so to try.

Nope - mine is smooth as can be also.

Nice tractor. I thought mine was a little jerky at first but I'm not noticing a problem now. I did adjust the knob under the seat slightly. I think the adjustment combined with me getting familiar with the tractor solved the problem.

I will try to adjust the knob under the seat and see if that makes a difference. It is very smooth when lowering, but is pretty jerky when trying to raise it slowly with the box blade attached. Enough to make it very difficult to feather up when grading with the box blade. If the tractor is stationary, raising the box blade slowly jerks significantly enough to bounce the tractor.

Hopefully it will smooth out, but if not, I will contact the dealer. Otherwise, I love the tractor so far :dance1:

I gave up on the Maryville boys at Tyler Bros. after less than desired service. You did well going to Athens.
