I transferred my Whelen Lindz6's and traffic adviser from the B3030 to the L5740.

The controls.
I have a video of how they work, but haven't figured out how to post it yet.:D

Got a dimmer switch so you don't blind drivers?

Looks good. Video will be nice.

A good way to post video is to create (if you dont already have) a youtube account.

You can then post the link to your video in the thread, and the video will be embedded

That controller has a high or low switch. I have the same controller for my lightbar in my F-250.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Why didn't you put the molex connectors inside the cab, to protect them from the weather?

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like the wires from the LINZ6's were too short for that.

That was easy. Here's the video.

Safety Lighting on Kubota L5740 - YouTube

My first video, so I have a lot to learn. I'll try to do better next time.

I did on the B3030 and it was a real pain to remove them. I might as well just used butt connectors. Also the connectors won't go through the little hole and grommet. So I did it this way this time. I'll just have to see if I have any issues. If so, I'll just have to order some Weatherpack connectors.

I would just apply some silicone grease to the inside of the molex plugs and assemble. Not like on a snowplow truck where it's exposed to salt spray all the time.

I filled them with dielectric grease and then rubber taped them. That should be plenty.

Looks good. The new feature that allows video embedding has really simplified things here.

I like the traffic advisor. Search for Member 4shorts. He does plowing in a Kubota as well. He's got a pretty decent strobe setup too.

Thank you very much!
I don't think so, but that really is a matter of opinion and relative skills. Making some brackets to hold the lights, running the control wire from the lights to the controller, power and ground, and mounting the controller box. That's pretty much it. It might depend on what your installing it on as well. My L5740 top comes off in a matter of minutes, speeding up the wiring. Kubota supplied a factory auxiliary plug at the base of the left B pillar with a positive and ground, so I didn't even have to run that. So thanks to Kubota the install was pretty easy.:cool2:
