Hello,

I am an excited new owner of a 2538 Cab with A/C ETC. I have a few questions if anyone could help out.

1. Cab owners, which position should the vents be to be considered "recirculate". I read the book, and its alittle confusing to say the least.

2. Cab owners, I am in Central FL, and its hot already. I know the A/C isint going to work magic, Im just curious how much tinting the windows has helped, I would assume alot!

3. The work lights, there are two up front and two in the rear, Has anyone replaced them with LED bulbs? If not, anyknow know how to get the bulbs out to find out which bulb it takes so I can check for a conversion to LED?

So far I love the tractor, and I think it will service me well. I have purchased three tractors in the last 3 years and I hope this is my last (finally sucked it up and got the cab :) )

Thanks in advance

The rear vents (behind the seat when you are sitting in the tractor) should be open to recirculate the air in the cab.

I am a recent 2538 Cab buyer myself. I do plan on tinting and replacing bulbs with led myself. Nothing useful to add, however.

Please update us when you get it done, I'd like to see how it turns out & how much it cost you.

I wouldn't tint the glass, it would just lower visibility to an extent.

Why convert new lights to LED?

There's a few guys on here that pulled off there old cab lights and put up a strip type LED light and they seem to really like it.

Personally I feel the lights I have on my 4320 is more than enough light, from the cabbed tractors I have seen, seems all run with similar set ups on cab lights. Guys run with just hood lights and are just fine, cab lights plus hoods are freaking awesome.

Your A/C should make things comfortable in the cab, you can try to improve things if you want but personally I am happy with stock.

A/C blows cold are at a higher RPM and cab lights light things up like day time. IMG_7251.JPG

No comparison from stock "halogen" type lights to LED's.I replaced my stock cab light with 18w LED's and it's amazing the difference. You cannot look at these lights they are so bright.

How much did they cost and where did you buy them at?

Anything special with install?

Did you just change out the cab lights?

Any chance remember how many watts the old lights were?

Plastic or metal housing? Sealed with rubber gaskets?
