New Owner for a Deutz 4006 questions

Hey

just picked up a deutz 4006 and could use a hand finding some nomenclature about it... or any information or site that is for deutzs

Looking for free resources.

Does anybody have a clue where to pick up a owners manual, repair manual, and maintenance manuals ?

Its grinding when i put it from low to high gear does anybody know the proper way to shift into low or high gear.......

Hey whis... thanks for the heads up. I caught that early

The grind i am talking about is when i go from "L" TO "S" The tractor has 8 gears and two shifters as far as i can tell. When the two position sifter is in L the tractor has 4 slower speeds via another regular style shiftier. When its in S it has 4 other faster speeds.

When i shift the separate handle from L to S i get a pretty good grind, just wondering if there is a special knock on wood , keep clutch in and shift that when the moon is in 1/2 phase shift.

Hard to find literature and info on this tractor

clutch may be getting weak or out of adjustment, try holding clutch down for 20 seconds before shifting
