2015 Branson 3520h
Finally pulled the trigger on a new (2015) 3520h last weekend. Looked at New Holland and Deere and just wasn't impressed. I think I got quite a bit of tractor for the money. Already used it to spread a load of top soil. This forum was invaluable when trying to decide what to get. Thanks to all who post their thoughts on here, good or bad.

Congratulations on the tractor. If you feel like the loader should be stronger then check the hydraulic pressure, mine came from dealer at 2150 psi and specs at 2489 psi. After adjustment made a nice difference.

Wondering if you can lift a pallet worth of retaining wall block with that loader? ~2500-2600 lbs.

Congrats, Sparky. Hope you love yours like I love mine (so far).

@Johnny, how does one check the hydraulic pressure?

Bought some of Ken's weld on hooks and also purchased the hydraulic pressure tester with the female ISO 7241-A quick connect coupler from him. (Great guy to deal with)

Ken's Bolt on Grab Hooks <<Hydraulics>>

1) Disconnected one of my loader line quick connects (post control valve) and connected hydraulic gauge to that port with quick connect.

Operate the valve at pto rpm for 5-10 seconds at a time until I dialed in the bypass pressure that specs called for.

The adjustment is on the underside of the loader valve and is a locknut with an allen head adjustment. Clockwise will increase pressure.

Ken's Bolt On Hooks website has a video that walks you through the process.

I was hitting relief pressure on my loader at times when I felt that it should have still had some oomph, so I made the purchase and as stated above I was down on pressure from the dealership.

Thanks

Thanks, Johnny! I've seen Ken's website but didn't find the hydraulic section. Time to do a little shopping!

BL25 loader is rated at 2100 lbs, I would give it a try if I had the right rear ballast.

I am thinking of going the 55 Gallon Drum full of concrete route at this time, currently running around with the 72" box blade for ballast.

I'll have to look into the pressure on the FEL. It feels pretty strong to me, but I have nothing to compare it to. Hooks are on my list as well. I had the dealer put fluid in the rear tires too.

Anybody else have an issue with the hydro not stopping when you let off the pedals? Mine will sometimes continue to slowly roll. I figure it's probably an adjustment. I'm going to ask my dealer about it. I think it might have something to do with my gear range being hard to shift as well.

That is an adjustment and they explain how to fix it in the manual.
