New Owner of a Grand Kubota

Today on my lunch break I took delivery of an L3830!! It was such a thrill to see the delivery truck driving up my driveway. My salesman delivered it and went over everything about the tractor and implements. Unfortunately, I had to leave to go back to work and didn't get to play (oh, I mean work) with it at all. I am leaving work in a few minutes and I sure hope I don't get pulled over while I am speeding home to see that orange machine sitting in my yard.

Thanks to everyone for your advice and input on my purchase.

I know the feeling, got a new L4330 last weekend. I could only manage 6.5 hours before I had to head back to the "city house". Nothing like the smell of a new tractor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have fun with the new toy (er... tool). Don't forget to take a picture or two! 30 years from now it will be great fun to look at gramps on the tractor when it first came home!

Did you get HST? Man, I have to tell you it is one very sweet tractor. I have never given a tractor a name, but if I called mine anything it would be Maximum Utmost Rat...

That orange paint is better looking than any sunset I have seen. I am a new owner of a L3130HST and I find myself just starring at the orange paint.!!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congrats on the new tractor! I thought I had thought of everything that I would do with the tractor when I got it last summer. Boy was I wrong! Of course I had to buy some more implements as I dreamt of other things I could do if I only had a .....? Have added a box blade and a large roller. Next thing will be a rake. Now I have to build something to store all of this stuff. A tractor owner's work (fun) is never done.

HAVE to admit, u are a better more disaplined man than me, got a new tractor AND WENT BACK TO WORK /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif should have stayed home, u were probably usless at work anyhow, with your mind being on bright orange tractor /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif let us know how u like it!

Well, I managed to put 4 hours on the new Kubota last night. I mowed my entire yard in one and a half hours (last week it took me four and a half with the riding mower). I came in to the house after an hour and a half and my wife said "Are you taking a break already?" I quickly responded "No, I am done with the yard, and that tractor is the best investment I have ever made." My wife agreed.
I know what you guys are thinking, "He put 4 hours on the tractor and it only took 1.5 to mow?" YES! I just drove around playing and figuring stuff out for 2.5 hours!! I even got to use the headlights for almost an hour.
After one day of use, I can say I really love the 3830 .
