Hi all,I just bought a boat anchor I believe! I live in Ky and was interested in buying a Ford tractor and need a lot of help,I hope to find it here!!!

Well,I am not a mechanic,but my husband can work on them. So, as far as I know, there is no power to the lift part of the tractor that lifts the bushhog in the air to drive it around. It worked when we looked at it at the dealers,but,after we put it on the trailer to bring it home,it would not raise the bushhog to get it off the trailer or drive it to the driveway,we had to just drag it on the ground across the street to our house. No leaks on the ground or anything,and it was very cold that day. Also,gas pours from the carb,and the head leaks anti-freeze! Do you think we can fix it? The dealer said he would fix it,or return our money(I do not believe it though).We paid $3800 for the tractor and bushhog.I am very worried about it.I feel he was dishonest to begin with. when he sold this to us. He acted as if he had no "idea" why that happened with the lift on the back. The PTO does not turn at this time either.But it did when we bought it. Maybe we are just not familiar with the correct workings of this thing.Any ideas?? I hope this helps give you some idea of what is going on
