New owner of BX-23: servicing questions

I have a 23TLB as well and as other have said, do all the filters and fluids, and you'll be fine. I typically do not do the fuel filter closets to the engine block, perhaps every other service for that one, and while some are big on anti freeze change outs, its another one I don't worry much about for the first 6-7 years.

Do the front axle
Hydro, and clean the screen
Engine oil and filter
Air filter
check coolant over flow
first fuel filter off tank
check the seat shut off switch and adjust to your liking
and check front tire wear and adjust toe in within 1/8" or better.
Then grease all zerks
Check free play on foot pedal linkage
Air up tires

I think I got it all, pretty much know the routine now.

Thanks, fortunately I do have the manual, it came with the machine. First thing I'll do is acquire the filters. I'm convinced by everybody here (thanks!) to do it myself.

Good for you... if you have tools and time, almost nothing better in my book! :drink:
