I've been reading this board for about a week now. Was about to buy a Kubota 3710 w/LA681 for $1950, but had too take a look at NH. Like what I saw and purchased 45D w/16la. No SuperSteer - didn't want it. Dealer had on of the lot... cost just a few $K more for the 45HP NH. Dealer gave me a good price on Woods HD 7' box scraper/scarifier. Everything I read says you can't buy enough HP. Hope I made right decision? Kubota makes good stuff, but NH is no slouch either! Let the comments begin!

JohnT,

Great decision! That makes two "blue" announcements today /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. That tractor is a great machine. Take care of that baby.

Heck, JohnT, everybody knows I'm kinda partial to Kubotas, but that's a fine machine you bought. I'll bet you'll be real happy with it./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

John,

Congrats on the new tractor! You're right, the NH is a great machine... of all the compact tractors I saw at the EFD last month, the TC45D was probably the most impressive as an overall package regardless of size, HP, or price… with the Kubota M-cab models up there as well. NH sure has put together a great tractor especially with these newer, larger models, and also the smaller models recently released.

Have fun with your tractor (think safety always) and let us know how you like it!

Muhammed,

Forgot to mention how hepful this site and its contributor's have been... thanks everyone! I read every message in both Kubota and NH sections. I can't tell you what a gut wrenching decision it was between the orange and blue. To tell you the truth I think the 45D is sort of ugly, that sloped hood reminded me of an overgrown ant eater, but I couldn't deny it made sense for loader work. Can you provide details on what you witnessed at EFD without offending anyone?

<font color=blue>JohnT,

Welcome to the wonderful world of BLUE!

That TC45D is one awesome machine. Congratulations on your decision and purchase. If you like yours one iota as much as I like my Mighty TC18, your cheeks will soon disappear and a smile will be seen from ear to ear! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Enjoy and be safe! JimBinMI

Congrats on the tractor.

I'm looking at the TC45 as well as JD4500/4600/5105 and the K L4310/4610 tractors. Would you tell us what you paid for the 45 and implements? It sure would help to see how prices are working out in different areas.

Thanks.
