Congrats on the tractor and Welcome To The Pack!

I love my little CK20HST! It's 6 years old with almost 550 hours and not a single problem. I work the heck out of it too between moving tons of gravel, box blading the driveway (48" BB), removing stumps/rocks with the backhoe and even snowblowing in the winter. Best bang for your buck!

The loader's rated at 1074lbs to full lift but of course it will lift more to lower capacities.

Thanks Dmace - I like that cab and BH you have on your rig... I would have loved the BH, but couldn't afford it for now. One thing I do need to find is the front bumper/guard - Is that something I have to get from the dealer? I'm having trouble locating one online.

Also, how much was your cab?

I got everything from the dealer all at once (biggest personal check I ever signed!). At the time (Oct 2005), the cab was $1895 plus a couple hundred for the heater and front/rear wipers. For that price, it's well worth it. Now it's around $3500 mostly unchanged. Not worth that to me. Grill guard, stabilizer feet, loaded tires, 50hr service, etc... were included, no idea on pricing seperately.

I'll have to look into one before winter... Pretty sweet. How quickly does it attach/detach?

The backhoe?
It takes about 10 mins, the HST makes those inch movements while looking underneath the tractor much easier. If you meant the cab, I've never removed it. It's two pieces split at the base of the windows but I would never try to remove it temporarily.

I think the grill guard was around $175 from a dealer purchased seperately.

I'm just wondering if it would get in the way at times, getting in and out of my woods... it would be nice in the cold, but how is it for ventilation (in the heat)?

One side is a soft door with metal frame and door latch, the other is a one-piece soft door velcro'd on. In the summer, I remove both doors and it's just like having no cab at all but I still have the shade from the canopy top.
