Hello all,

Just bought my first "tractor". Picked up a 2004 New Holland TZ24DA with 300 hours. Main uses are mowing, landscape projects, and general sub compact stuff. Looking forward to learning a lot here.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. Glad to be here.

mddorange,

I personally live on one acre but I do a good bit at a family member's place and I help out at my dad's small (35 acre) farm. Planning on buying at least that much for myself in the next few years. In the meantime I have been using this little New Holland for all kinds of things. Put 10hrs on it in the past week and already loving it.

If you get that much land, then you have to pass that one off to the little lady and get you a bigger one.

You guys got that right! She wasn't sure if she would like driving it but I had her drive while I loaded the dump cart and she had a big grin!

I will probably be picking up a 4ft box blade and eventually a Woods LS72 loader for this machine and it will be good to go. It will probably do a good bit of firewood hauling, fence line clearing, some aerating, gardening, and all kinds of landscaping from spreading gravel, and overall mini tractor stuff.

So far it seems to have good power output from the 1.0L 25hp (19pto) 3cyl and the 8 gallon fuel tank is NICE! I've mowed for about 4hrs with it and put another 6hrs digging out bushes and dragging off a few trees. Still have a 1/4 tank from when I brought it home. Loving it!

Any big tasks and I have access to a Kubota MX5200 and a John Deere 110 TLB.

Yessir........also I'm a sucker for anything that burns diesel so I will have a good time.

What all do you get into at your place? Looks like you have a good setup with the L3200.
