Ran across a great deal on a PHD the other day and thought I would share. I have been looking for a few weeks for a used PHD for my Kubota BX25D. After learning $800-$1800 was the current range I thought the hand digger might be my friend for a few more years. Then I thought I would drop the term into Amazon and boom one comes back for $449 delivered to my door. DirtyHandTools was the sellers name. I was extremely skeptical but pulled the trigger. The itemed arrived quickly, the packaging was a solid wood crate (see pic below) and each piece was hand wrapped with rubber material and large zip ties. Then I go to mount it on my tractor (Kubota BX25D1) and the boom width is 1.75 which is the same as my tractors top hitch mount (see Doofus post). I contacted customer service and they tell me I need a different pin. I even sent photos to show them it doesn稚/can稚 slide in. They stay with pin story. Doubt they have even seen a tractor. I grind off 1/8 on both sides of boom and she fits like a glove. Mount it up and wow this digger is solid as a rock. She bores through hard soil, roots, small rocks, etc. It is very study and the gear box is very heavy. Overall this is rocking deal if you have priced PHDs. I would have preferred not to grind but considering the product I got I am very pleased. I ordered the model 90 as I wanted a smaller boom for my BX. Safe digging

I didn't know DHT is in tractor attachments business, but they make one of the best wood splitters available.

The No. 90 for a Cat 0 3PH is $449. The No. 100 for Cat 1 or 2 3PH is $2172!!! WOW!

My understanding is the heavy gearbox is the same on the 90 and 100...can't explain the $ diff but I see these differences on Amazon all the time with all sorts of stuff. Maybe they are promotional? I hope this Amazon implement trend continues...adds new meaning to Prime.

What's the black tube above the orange sticker?

Nice looking PHD!

Looks very similar to the Country Line auger from Tractor Supply, just a little different paint color. Hopefully you can use the same parts as the Country Line, which makes them easy to get.

This is their website price, which is also the same amount. Usually you can go to the store and find them cheaper then advertised online, and with their sales that they have all the time, it's easy to get ten or even 20 percent off

Black tube is to hold sheer pins and other bolts. I did look at TSCs and its boom was longer. I was worried about dragging auger with my smaller bx25. I wanted a Landpride PD10 as it perfect for SCUT but they are very proud of them. DHT was almost same size as the LP. The home delivery was nice also.
