Be sure and make sure that in addition to plubing inline with the PB loop, that you connect the tank-return connection (usually labeled "out", or "T") back to the tank ( this is a no-pressure return line for the relief valve).

Anyone got any good pictures or diagrams of what the FEL valve looks like (how it plumbs) and how the PB connects into the system? I understand how I can connect in at the FEL control ports by disconnecting the QD's, hooking in new hoses and using the FEL joystick but that doesn't sound like the best route to go and besides it disables half of FEL at the same time.

It looks like this should have been in the John Deere or Hydraulics thread...sorry but I did a search and didn't realize what thread I was in. I will move it to another thread.

I rarely post on the Kubota pages as I have JD 2305, but I have considered much of what you are proposing. From the dates I saw on this thread, some time has passed, but I too am interested in making/modifying a top-n-tilt to my 2305. I have nowhere near the hydraulic capacity that you do and we really do have two very different machines, but the concept is the same and I think the basic principle would work on my machine too.

Were you ever able to add your homemade top-n-tilt? I have jus begun tinkering with the idea of making and modifying my own implements. Right now I have a highly functional hay rake (landscape rake) that I made for about $150--half or less than buying outright. I would be very interested to know if your project worked and especially if your solutions would work for me.

I have seriously considered using the FEL controls for this operation, but I have to admit that the plumbing sounds intimidating. Would a small joystick mounted by the ROPS work as well?
