Trails End, you gota just wait and see and of course give your dealer a chance to repair unit. You did buy a reliable well know snow blower, but as we all should know s--t happens. The good thing in our neck of the woods is no snow fall forecast for the near future, cold as a witch's t-t though.

The dealer called this morning around 10AM, saying that the snow blower was repaired and they would
bring it up if I could unload it from a pickup truck. At that time, I was trying to get the tractor started,
to change from the bucket to the plow, since I didn't think that they would complete the repair this
soon. I told them that as soon as I got the tractor started, I'd give them a call. Unfortunately, it
was after noon before I got the tractor started (had a charger on the battery), and had a doctor's
appointment for 2PM, so wouldn't be able to do anything this afternoon. They'll bring it up tomorrow
afternoon. They said that the reason that the weld on the shaft failed was because the gear box
wasn't mounted properly, which placed additional stress on the shaft. I have to give the dealer service
department an A+ for effort to get it back quickly, since we have a storm on our doorstep with 5-8
inches forecast. I'll use the plow for tomorrow's snow cleanup.
