I recently requested some literature from Power Trac and received what appears to be their 2003 price listings. None of this is posted on their website yet.

The main differences I noticed from '02:

1845: increased to $19,000 base price /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

They're offering a 1445 model... I called to inquire about this, having never heard of it before and they said it was an older model they're bringing back...sounds like a 1430 but with a 45 hp Deutz, 5/8" quick-attach, 1800 lb. lift, lift height 84". Base price $16,000. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anybody have any info on this model?

Dean: For reasons known only to Power Trac, the 1400 series includes machines of quite different sizes. The 1460 is a brute - a lot bigger even than the 1850, and probably twice the weight of the 1430. The 1800 lb. lift height and 84" lift are both more than the 1845, although less than the 1460, so the 1445 is also likely to be a pretty massive machine, much bigger than the 1430.
Some day I'll ask them where the numbers come from. My suspicion is that the 4 in 1400 means 4 tires, where the 1800s have duals and thus 8 tires. Of course, Sedgewood and I have single tires on 1845s.
I don't see why an 1845 would cost more than a 1445, which is bigger, but I suppose time will tell.

Any difference in features between the 422 and the 425 after 2/28/02. Also any difference from current prices?

The 422 base price is $6,500 on the new list, with what appears to be the same features/specs. Attachments seem to be priced the same, except the snow blade which is a couple hundred dollars cheaper (like you'll get a lot of use out of that in Hawaii, eh?) /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

425 price is unchanged at $8,500 but with a new and improved 60" lift height, and apparently, higher torque wheel motors.

Stay tuned for details when the Power Trac website gets updated in a couple days.
