New PT arrived with 16 hours on meter?

My new PT 425 arrived with 16 hours on the meter. Is that normal?? Did they sell me a demo unit????

Update! I feel like a dummy. I could not see the #@&**## decimal point without shining a flashlight at the meter. Please disregard. Is there a way to cancel this thread?

I know on my 1460 that if I turn the key all the way to the left, the hour meter runs. I drove mine back from Tazewll, and when I got home the PT had like 12 hours on it. oops.....

When I picked mine up it had less than an hour on it. The demo units have a lot more than 16 hours.

Hey, I just posted in anther thread, but I'll repeat it because its more relevant here...

Maybe someone left the key on. I left mine on and ran 48 hours on the meter before I used it again.

I say if the machine looks perfect and no obvious signs of wear or use, then forget about it and enjoy the machine. :thumbsup:
