We just financed a new Kubota with their 0% for 60 months. During the financing I understood that the method used by Kubota is okay for their business, but others (possibly Case) are offering large cash discounts to avoid additional monies required to secure the 0% financing. This costs money and for some (who may have had financial or investment problems) the cash back and full payment are easier, more secure, or work best for them. Others were financially stable to offer 0% such as Kubota. This may change at the end of this financial period (tonight). If you search around and don't care if you buy local then I am sure there are deals to be had.
I just ordered a part for my current tractor. I have a Challenger and I called the nearest MF dealer because my dealer is no longer carrying tractors or servicing them. The MF dealer is not too far away. I received an answer on the other end. My question required a call back, which I received very fast with the right answer. I learned the number I dialed was forwarded to the next nearest MF dealer, which is quite a distance from me. I had the part shipped. I learned the closer MF dealer went out of business last month. Maybe there were some deals to be had there, but what about service.
Mike
PS I checked the MF sub forum and found that it would probably be nice to have a MF dealer not far away if I had a MF tractor.
