New RTV for 2014?

8" of suspension travel should make it a much more enjoyable ride..not sure that they spec'd previous models for the suspension travel but riding in them it didn't seem like they had much.

They are getting a lot closer to their competitors with that ground clearance and suspension travel. Maybe they are ready to enter the crossover utv market and will make one that can work and play like the Gator and Ranger.

Some things I've noticed

Real 4x4
Radiator and air cleaner under hood
Parking brake on dash
Only 2 forward ranges
Half doors on the x1120d (must be due to speed)
Adjustable driver seat and steering wheel
4 lug hubs instead of 5
More cab options for x900/x1120d
Windows in cab on x1100c look like they operate like car windows (roll down)?

I wonder if they will keep the current RTVs as well like JD did with the HPX after the XUV was released. I do think that may be too many models.

From the pictures, I don't like the dash at all on the 1100c or the 2 range tranny..I use all 3 on my 1100.

Like the roll down windows, limited slip FE, IRS, bed tie downs, rad under the hood and more ground clearance...

Don't like the brush guard, looks cheesy, they should have lowered the cab height to make it more proportionate.

They should have surveyed current owners about the redesign.

I do remember when the RTVs first starting getting big, they had hydraulic tools available to use by hooking them up to the pump on the machine. Do they still have the attachment points and attachments?

RTV X1120D in the house! All the things we didn't like have been tweaked if not changed. Really looking forward to driving one of these. Wonder how dealers are going to jack prices cause of new model.:(

The current Utility version has the hydraulic valve -- I suspect that option will be available in the 2014 model.

Curious if they streamlined the RTV1100 cab..Un-necessarily tall on mine...A little more ground speed would be nice but not necessary. All other current systems get a thumbs up from me.
Go from the tall RTV cab enclosure to a Gator and see how many knots you get on your head. I like the tall cab rather than a short one that you have to stoop to get into. Most other types are like a golf cart and a little rough riding will have your head bouncing off the roof if not buckled in which I never do.

There might be a practical reason but I'm 6' tall and there is an absurd amount of room over my head..Some is needed, but not all that.

When I have my 1100 on my trailer, I have to watch for tree limbs. The 1100 has an overall height that exceeds my GMC 4x4 and my wife's Hummer..I just think that's a bit much.

The transmission is redesigned in a way that you don't need it so much any more. The torque curve of the trans matches the engine better. It feels like it has more power, even though it does not. Mid was not really needed any longer.

What are you 7' tall? I've had several passengers that were over 6' and they weren't even close to banging their heads on the roof in my 825i...most all utvs seem to have a ton of head room. $.02 I've always felt my 825i had an awkwardly tall look with the roof being so high, they could drop it at least 4" and make it look a lot more proportionate. Like Tim I don't care for the tall cab look, it's just wasted space and something else to hang up on tree limbs.
