I believe mine came with the stock springs. They are adjustable and set for the highest load rating. The Boss 6-way plow is heavy but the springs seem to suffice.

Does your RTV-X1100c shift any different with the plow on it? We bought a new one and have about 42 hours on it and then at 50 hours it will go in for its first checkup and the installation of the plow. Our dealer uses Boss plows, we're having a V-plow installed.

It does not shift any different with or without the plow. However, after 14 months of use it is easier to shift overall compared to when it was new.
