I have been lurking around here for years and always find useful and interesting things but I don't usually post too much. Not sure if the pics are ok, might have been better to knock down the file size.

Rolled it off the truck yesterday. Big excitement around the homestead. This rig will be replacing a Bobcat branded DK50SE gear jammer which was a great little unit for 6 years and 1000 hours. This unit with an extra set of rear remotes, an 84" Rhino boxblade, a set of service manuals, filters for the first service and rear tires filled with Rimguard was right at 35K. Dealer was MoKan Outdoor Power and equipment and so far they have been the bomb. Very accommodating and helpful.

Very first stop was to roll it into the shop and install a Michigan Iron 3rd function kit. The kit is well thought out, only had a few wrinkles. The hole in the handle for the joystick was way too small. I had to stick it on the lathe and bore it to .640. Closest fractional equivalent is 41/64ths so that wouldn't be very handy if you were trying to do it in the average garage. The head of the bolt that fastens the valve to the bracket interfered and required drilling a hole through the loader frame. The position of the valve is pretty exposed so I'll have to dream up some kind of skid plate for protection. All in all a pretty nice kit though. All of the hoses were dead nuts.

I have high hopes for this tractor based on my previous experience with the brand and looking forward to tackling some work that the 50 hp tractor wasn't quite up to.

Very nice! You'll get a lot of work done with that setup!

In the 2nd picture, I've got a question. On the 3rd function valve body, are those #8 o-ring boss-male to #6 JIC-male fittings?

That is what those are. They are on the curl from the loader valve, couplers everywhere else. The diverter stays with the tractor so you need to disconnect six lines to remove the loader. The last setup I had the diverter stayed with the loader so you only had to disconnect four lines plus electric.

Thank you for the feedback on our ESK-7320 Kit. I will check into the bushing size on the joystick handle. We have 3 different bushings depending on the tractor model. Not sure why yours was too small, we may have put the wrong bushing in the handle. Hope you enjoy your new KIOTI Tractor, and.......... Merry Christmas from the gang at MIE.

Thanks for the clarification. For some reason I was thinking that you had a true 3rd function (probably because of all the QDs there) and those #6 fittings would end up burning up your pump if there were on the constant flow ports. It is out of the norm to have the diverter not stay with the loader when removed, but it gives you another set of remotes to use when-if the loader is removed if needed. (AG use and all.)

Our Constant Power Beyond 3rd Function Kits use a larger manifold body with SAE10 ports / JIC10 Fittings. This large of a valve isn't required for the Electric Selector Kits. Our Continuous Power Beyond 3rd Function Kits are rated for up to 18 gpm continuous flow.
