My mother saw this at auction and couldn't resist. (photo1 of 2)

Think ones like these were for sale in the Olsheln store in Ada, Oklahoma.

Years ago two of my younger brothers each had a set-up just like that one... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I beleive that the tractor pictured was sold about 25 years ago and was a pedal version of a Deere 4440. Bought one for my son and still have it although it needs some repair. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Would that be a Pedal Utility Tot Tractor? A PUTT?? Or could it be a Ultra Sub Sub Tractor? USS Tractor?

My folks live in Stonewall, a thriving metropolis of 600 people just 13 miles SE of Ada, Oklahoma where there are both TSC and Orscheln (note correct spelling) stores. Ada is a thriving metropolis of about 13-15k.

My Dad still works his old 8N on his 1 acre out of Stonewall.

But did you pay a toll when you visited?

Just funnin' ya! How you could ever go back to old viginny after being in the promised land... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey, I like that. It's my only tractor with a name. The other two are just the tractor and lawn tractor. No fun in that. and PUTT is an acronym to boot.

Cliff

Hopefully it's not a Compact Alternative Pedal Utility Tractor.

No. The question is how could I ever go back to Oklahoma after living in a beautiful state like Virginia. Oklahoma (to me) is a very dreary place from fall until spring time, and it never looks as nice as Virginia any time of the year.

I'm sorry. I've been absolutely all over the world. I selected a place that kinda mimics the best I've seen.

Those tsunami-hit places? I've been to almost all of them. Tahiti? Been there twice. Don't agree with Michener. Seychelles are nicer.
