NH TC34DA 34HP HST, 2 rear remotes, front diverter, loaded R4's
I had a factory step on my TC34DA. Going up worked great. Coming down I would have to back down if I wanted to use it. Di not bother me until I had a knee replacement. I never backed down , not much room to turn around. Now I did not want to land harder on my good knee than I had too. New step time. Stringers , spacers I had around bought a 7" tread. It was not particularly difficult but time consuming. I may add one more brace but it works great. TC34DA with new step.jpgTC34DA step.jpg

Great looking step! I am due for a knee replacement within a couple months, and I have thought about getting on/off the tractor after the replacement. I also have enough scraps around for the stringers. Where did you get the step from? All that I find around here are about 20" long and they want a small fortune for them.

Amazon 7" x 24" $42 I didn't even use 1/2 of it. Pay for shipping and you can have it. PM me. Don't believe anything they tell you about knee replacement. It hurts like crazy and you can get addicted to the pain meds in a couple of days. I am not sure I will ever be able to kneel on that knee cap. On the other hand I am really glad I did it. Bad knees suck the energy right out of you.

I had both my knees done 7 years ago and the pain was nothing compared to the pain I had before I had it done , I had much wurse pain at the dentist. As far as getting addicted to drugs that's got to be a personal problem its no more addictive than asprin or beer . Unless you like itching and getting constipated.:confused2::drink:

OH yea great work on the step love to see out of the box thinking . Don't fear the surgery it will be the best thing you ever did . I was back to work in 3 months and I am a carpenter up down ladders and scaffolds all day. Push yourself during rehab and you will recover much faster . People who dragged their asses during rehab took much longer to recover . Think of your new painless future and it will be over before you know it. Good luck .:drink:

Thanks for posting the pics.... I haven't had a chance to get out to put the step on mine yet. Too many things to get done before winter takes hold! I also have a few factory braces that I 'll probably attach to.
