I for one have been the victim of the infamous brake lock on my YM-2000. I can't count how many times Its been left on while I used the tractor. Last evening I tried something new. For normal mowing, I set the throttle so the tach reads just under the red mark. With ear plugs in I have a pretty good idea how the engine should sound at that setting. About 30 minutes into my task, I noticed the pitch a bit higher than the norm. I bumped the throttle stick forward and there was no change... Yet again and again I repeated this and still no change. At least another 20 or 30 seconds pass while I'm trying to figure what has happened.
In despiration I push the throttle forward a significant amount. Still no change. I think it was at this point when It dawned on me that my right foot was resting on the foot throttle.
DOH!!!
If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at. ;-)
