Pictures would be great. Yours sounds cracked out like mine was.
A Properly repaired loader should look like new or be done well enough to look as though it was done at the factory. If it looked like new and no internal reinforcement was done then I would be worried about it happening again since the now brittle welded area will be even less able to hold up to the flexing.
If my car got wrecked, I would expect the repair to include substantial effort towards cosmetic repair as well as structural integrity.
