Got a quote on a tc33 with hydrostat, 4wd, supersteer, industrial tires for 14,800. Add a NH 7308 loader for 3350 and a NH MMM rear discharge 72 inch for another 2495. What do you guys think? In the ballpark? Also anyone got any experience or ideas about using a loader on a tractor with supersteer. I heard the supersteer causes a little weakness with turning and a loader. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks

It is a new (unused) 2003 model. I understand that the LA14 will not fit up with the 2003 model. Thanks

Wayne1083 I have SuperSteer on my TC-40D. If you will be using a FEL you will notice right off that if you turn your wheels right the bucket will move the opposite direction by a couple of inches before catching up with the turn and vice versa. Normally that is not a problem unless your tractor is kept in close quarters. I consider myself a quick learner so I got used to the quirks real fast. I like the sharp turning radius and the fact that with SuperSteer also comes Sensitrak which automatically applies the 4WD as needed. It also permits the tractor to corner tightly without tearing up the turf. Although it tacks on about a grand on the finished price for the tractor I wouldn't be without it.

Pineridge that is a great looking tractor. You gotta love all that power and the backhoe. My next purchase is gonna be a backhoe. I appreciate your good advice as this is all new business to me. The majority of my work will be mowing with some trees. I wanted to make sure the 72 inch MMM is right for the tractor and the situation. Would also really appreciate some feedback on that price. Thanks again

Wayne thanks for the complement! A backhoe isn't for everyone. If you can't justify the initial high price with the amount of work that you need to do then I would advise just renting instead of purchasing. Mine wasn't cheap as it set me back just shy 6K. You can do a lot of renting for that kind of money. I also rented at first but finally gave in and made the plunge.

It's easy to get carried away with all the implements being offered on the market today, and I do like my toys. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm sorry I can't give you any advice on a MMM as I have never used one myself. They interfere with the sub-frame mount on the backhoe and all my experience has been with a 3-point mounted deck. I currently run a 60" KingKutter but I am looking at a larger deck with a rear discharge.

You have received a good price based upon what I have seen on this site and my purchase yesterday of the TC33D with hydro and supersteer for $15,400, 7308 for $3,250 and 72"mm for $2,350. Great choice!

Wayne,

Based on what I paid for my TC29D, 7308 Loader and 72" Med Mower your price is right in there. However, I do think you can do better since this tractor is no longer being produced. New Holland does want to get that one off the lot and I think you can mess with them a bit. Area has a lot to do with pricing also so fill in your profile and then the people in your area can help you out better in pricing. But personally I think if you play your cards right you could get the new 2004 with the much nicer loader for about the same price. Again this is not knowing the area you live in. Get prices from other dealers even if they are a ways a way. Also check out the other brands and use their pricing to get your dealer down some.

Just a few suggestions that is all.
