Tractor
Soon to be TC33D
I am a proud new owner of a TC33D. Too bad I have to wait until next thursday to have it delivered. The anticipation is killing me. I don't know how I am going to react when I move my first bucket load of dirt with power steering. I was used to muscling around my Ford 1210 with no PS. I have Popeye forearms.

Thanks to all who replied to my threads. It really helped me make a informed choice about what I needed in a tractor and what to pay for it. Here is how I did.

TC33D, R4's, 7308 loader with quick attachment, 66" heavy duty bucket, 1 remote, deluxe step, delivered. All for $17,950.00. Oh, and I forgot the nice hat.

The best part of the deal was I bought from the dealer closest to me, with a really good reputation for service.

Now I need to accumulate some of those fine First Choice implements. Anyone know a dealer in Western NY that might carry them? I am guessing "no". I asked all of the local dealers and they had never heard of First Choice, Most were BIG skeptics, when I told them they high quality, low price implements. I happened to be telling the sales guy that when one of the parts guys came in a told him a customer had just broken all the welds on one side of his brand new WOODS bushhog.

Thanks again for all the help.

Congratulations. Sounds like a nice package. The wait won't be too bad. Some of the guys waiting for the new Deere's literally waited months.

I've had the same reaction when checking with local dealers about First Choice. None have heard of them and most didn't seem interested in learning more. I wish one of them would start selling them.

I have no idea how close this dealer is to you, but Jim from First Choice gave out this name and number to someone else looking for a dealer in N.Y. that handled First Choice implements.

Congrads on the new Boomer, and to quote others here on TBN, "Welcome to Club Blue".

Man, I'm jealous, I didn't get a nice hat when I bought mine, just a crummy old black baseball cap with NH on it! I sort of thought I would get one like's in the Boomer brochure. Dealer said it got to be too expensive for them to give them away. Wonder if I said "no hat, no sale" I'd have got one?
Look on the bright side, you've got lots of time to read your owners manual before you take delivery. If you're like me, you're really gonna enjoy your new 33D.

Tractor_Addict,

Congrats, after a lot of research, the TC33D is the way I want to go also. After visiting the dealer today, my wife admitted it didn't look too big, but she still doesn't believe it will be the last tractor I ever buy...WOO HOO. I want, I want..I need I need! Man I'm so envious, I bet you won't even read this until the weekend is over, cause you're out on you're new machine.

My tractor hasn't been delivered yet. I am hoping to get it by this coming weekend. I actually took my wife with me when I was test driving the machines. I made her drive each one of them, use all the functions she could, and give me her feeling on what she liked/disliked about each tractor. She hated the Kubota, which I liked as much as the New Holland, but she really liked the New Holland. I might even get her to mow the lawn. I was just impressed that a city girl was driving tractors. There is something darned attractive about that.

Bummer about having to wait, hopefully you'll have good weather next weekend.

I took my wife shopping, but she only drove a couple of Kubota's, and after that, she said they all drove like the tractors she drove as a kid. Not a city girl. She really preferred it when I stopped dragging her to the dealers.

Hopefully, tomorrow I sign the final papers.
