New TC40D w/ 4n1- Tradeoffs?

The "outlaws" (the CFO's parents) farm in Cohocton NY. I stopped by and saw a couple of TC35-45D on the lot. Might want to check it out before pulling the trigger.

Could you do us all a favor and let us know where you finally go to get the 40D and what it costs you?

Change the subject -- these forums have talked me into, and out of, SS more times than I care to think about. The issue seems clear - it zigs, when you expect it to zag. But I can't figure out what the inside turning radius (benefit) on a 40D is with SS as contrasted to without. The % in the brochure don't help. If you have the facts, I'd appreciate them.

W/ the MMM on my 35D it will leave less than a 30" uncut circle when turning (I measured it last year and can't remember the exact ##).
Which is almost like zero turn.
The closest thing to compare it to is the old tricycle front end.
The inside is almost stationary on sharp turns, it still moves enough so u don't tear up the surface.
I make u turns inside the 24' garage w/ 3pt attachments on it.
The sensi-trac also helps w/ my hilly soft yard w/o having to lock in 4wd when mowing.
I'll never have another one w/o it.
