New thumb on ck20 backhoe

Tested my new thumb on some local boulders. Works great, design obtained from a local machinest and thumb fabricated by a talented neighbour. Cost to be worked out in a bit of rock removal.

Love it when things work out so well.

I recently installed a Michigan Iron and Ewuipment hydarulic thumb on my CK30's backhoe.

This thing has more uses then I thought. Not only can I lift and place rocks for a stone wall, but I can also pull small stumps and move dead trees, among other tasks.

Next week I'm on vacation, and plan on finishing the wall. And doing some other projects around the house/property. I'm just hoping the weather cooperates.

I like it a lot, gives me ideas! that's something I need to make for my hoe as well. I keep thinking about going hydraulic but I guess I could easily start with a manual one and then add the cylinder later on.
