New tire kit from Hyoe installed! 25 gallons of rim guard in the rears.

Definitely feel a difference in the ride, seems to get great traction. Does however act differently in 4wd. I'll admit that I am guilty of popping it into 4wd while in motion. Now...that's a pretty stiff shift with the new tires. Will be stopping before shifting into/out of 4wd.

Super happy with them so far.

I filled my rivers with windshield washer fluid and couldnt believe the difference it made!

I thought about doing that, but to effective I'd have to buy top shelf washer fluid which ruins the cost effectiveness/per weight ratio. Gets pretty cold here and the "cheap" washer fluid freezes in my truck all the time . Reminds me I need to stock up on the "good" washer fluid for winter....

Yea i bought the winter stuff thats good to like -10 or something and then i actually cut it with a gallon or two of water per tire. I did my math on the alchohol and amout of water i added and think i made it good down to like 10-15F. Thats fine here. even though we got below that not long enough to do more than slush the top probably.

i cant remember what the WWF alchohol is now? Is it methonol? i dont feel like googeling it now. I remember whatever it was you could get it in some food grade bucket in bulk for some purpose???perserving food or something  Or was that methyl glycol or whatever the RV antifreeze is? i do know i looked into both but the WWF fluid was cheapest. I bought from Advanceautoparts online and basically got 40% off useing online codes. and then picked it up.

My neighbor runs rim guard in his tires, and he like me keeps his tractor in a heated garage. However he tells me that on very cold days, -20F or lower, you don't want to keep that thing out there(sitting) for to many hours. He let his sit for a few hours once and it started to gel and swell a bit. Said his tires frosted up like a couple beer mugs once he pulled it back into his garage.

I would think that at -20 if it gets like that would leave a ...whollop...whollop whollop of a ride. But i personally would not be driving the tractor much in -20f unless i guess to remove snow if it was comeing down so fast as i had to stay on top of it.

Believe you me I try and avoid it, but sometimes bad timing, unforeseen circumstances, and poor preparations make for a cold afternoon...on or off the tractor.

Those look really nice on your machine. And it's a nice tractor to start with! What are the dimensions of those turfs? And how many gallons of rimguard did it take to 'fill' them. I've been thinking about using -20WWF, but I'm not sure me or the tires are up for that right now. Some added stability would be nice not to mention some ballast and added traction.

Thanks, but looks can be a smidgen deceiving.

Rears are 13.6-16 and fronts are...nuts i cant remember exactly...8.75 ahh ill have to take a look at them. Each rear tire took 25 gallons @ 10.7-11lbs per gallon. Traction improvement thus far has been enormous.

Off to check the price of a water pump. Cleaned/flushed then added new antifreeze and now my water pump is sounding a bit gravelie, and you can see a bit of wobble in the fan belt:(
