I have had small tractors for 11 years now but yesterday I purchased my first diesel. 
Previous experience was older Fords 1958 to 1962 with my last being a 641 WorkMaster. I needed four wheel drive and a front loader to help me deal with winter snow and haying horses. I now own (owe on) a 2006 New Holland TC30. I had been leaning toward Kubota 30HP machines but this was a good deal and fairly close by. I did get a lot of info from this site regarding these small tractors and I was truly thankful for the insight. Now I need to gain diesel knowledge, especially winter do's and don'ts.
