Tractor
ford 850
Hello,

I'm a son of a owner of a Ford 850, what year is it? He is not quit sure. I have never bothered to look at the silly thing. He once owned the manual to the tractor but it burned down in their house last year.
I joined this site in hopes of fixing my dads OOPSSSSS. The belt broke on his 850, he tried taking that "pto drive shaft" crank pulley stuff off. I have NO clue how the **** he managed doing this with out removing anything. I have manage to get one bolt back in. Now I work on cars, thats what i do for a living. I don't believe he had to take any of that off(but for what I took off, the drive shaft to the front pump to his loader) is that true?

I noticed some of you reffer people to buy the "manual" and answers are all there. I'd rather ASK first, is the steps to replacing the belt found in the manual? If so I'll be more than glad to purchase a book. I would imagine purchasing a 54-57 850 book would all the same correct?

SOrry for the introduction/help me out thread.
