Tractor
NH TC45DA
Looking for a little advice.

I just bought a 2006 or 2007 (Not Sure) NH TC45DA that has cab suite and super steer tractor has 286 hrs on it. Got it for $28,000 with a bucket and a brand new 72ç½µand pride grader.

Now I don稚 know anything about Tractors so please bear with me

We bought this tractor to maintain the road leading to our cottage itç—´ about a mile long and needs to leveled, graded, widened and Snow plowed.

I am currently looking at buying a NH 72任SH snow thrower front mount. Why front? The road at the cottage is bad to say the least for the entire road length the road is directly beside the lake. Driving backwards-just sounds like a sore neck waiting to happen. Oh and I don稚 really want to end up in the water this winter.

The advice I am looking for is as such?

Should I be looking at a blower that mounts to the bucket arms????

Is the 72 CSH a good one????

Are they any other models I should be looking at?????

Thanks for all the help

Here's a pic of the new ride.....

nice machine!!welcome aboard. I'm sure the dealer (did you get it at Markdale??)will take good care of you and the quick attach 72 CSH will be a perfect fit for your application. While you're at the dealer enquire about some pedal extensions....cause is doesn't look like your boy will let go of that wheel :D:D

The dealer may be a good start, front blower would be easier for a long lane, and you can get some good snow fall in your area. 3 point would be cheaper but you may find it more aggrevating if you have a lot of area to clear. Nice looking Unit, Good Luck with it.

The front mount snowblowers mount to a subframe, not to loader arms. They are powered by a mid PTO which I'm not 100% sure, but don't think is offered on a TC45. Your only option may be a front blade which I'm sure are also subframe mounted (New Holland Brand is what I'm talkin about here). Disclaimer: it's been 4 years since I researched this, things could have changed. Greg

Sorry for the delayed response to all.

Yes my son just loves it. Can't walk by it with out having to get in.

As for the dealer they wont be of much help to me got if from Berg. Berg is far away from where I live. They are also not a New Holland dealer.

I am actually having a difficult time finding the 72CSH no one has it and I am told I cant get one till January.

Any help finding one would be great.

did you try Markdale NH in Alliston? If they can't get one, then another option would be upstate NY dealer;) A day on the road might get you what you want before the white stuff flies and save you some $$$...Farm equipment is a joke to import.. 10 min at the border to pay the tax man and you're on your way home:cool:

Does the closest dealer have a loner blower?? Even if it is an old trade in, I am sure if you ordered the one you want, they would loan you one until yours comes in.

New Holland North America: Dealers

A hint for you, the drive can be worth it. The cloeset dealer, may be convienent, but may not want the hassle of doing it, so call around.

We found this out when we bought our tractor at the closest dealer. He will never see a penny of our money again.

BTW, welcome aboard, and keep us posted.
