Interesting, this machine looks brand new aside from some dust on it from sitting. The only thing keeping me from going to grab it is the fact that it has no loader and I can't seem to find one for it. I have a few dealers looking, the guy may be willing to cut me an even better deal because he wants it gone.

Yes, strike for a better deal. Tractor with blower should be around 4-5K. Loaders are around, but you have to look and wait.
Sutton? Wow close to my old stomping grounds....I grew up in Uxbridge!

No kidding, small world! I was going to offer him 4000 for it and see if he would bite. Essentially if I end up buying a loader I am figuring it is going to be around 3k, which puts me at 7000, there are a bunch of other machines out there just over that price set up the way I want and they are better supported, but 7k would be a good deal for the entire package i think.

Spoke to him today and before I could say anything he offered $4500 for it. I spoke to an older cadet dealer who recomended I stay away from this model tractor though. He said they handled mowing and snowblowing ok, but when a loader was on them they did not hold up. At this point I may just stick with my repowered GT225!!

Huh, this ones had the loader on it from day one. I use it all the time since I bought it and didn't seen any weak points when I was looking and greasing everything. Go with your gut/wallet I guess.

How many hours on your machine? I am not going to be using this thing for construction just simple around the house stuff. My gut is telling me that for what I am doing this thing will be good. It looks like I can get a loader from woods, they are pricey though!

Chappell Tractor wants 4600 for a new Woods LS84 Loader. The search continues for that, but I think I'll pick this up this weekend. I also grabbed a new 19HP Kohler off a scratch and dent tractor, new never fired, to repower my GT225 with. Lots of fun projects for this weekend! Demi, sorry to hijack your thread, thanks for the helpful info!

Mine has approx.400 hrs total, I just used it to load a 400 lb. wood stove onto a trailer what a back saver. I've used it to move and level a bunch of gravel and dirt and moving logs/firewood etc. It seems a little more powerful than my fathers new SC2400. I haven't seen the tractors side by side by I think this tractor is significantly bigger as well.

Cross referenced some Cub Cadet to Wix filters the other day so I thought I'd put them up here.
Air cleaner:46449
Oil filter: 51394
Tranny: 51259
Tranny: 51410
If anyone knows a cheaper fuel filter replacement that would be great.
