JD 850-sold to buy Kbota Grand L3010
I've been shopping for a mower that will shorten my mowing times. We are now on 4+/- acres, and the JD 42" cut takes way to long. The Grand L with finish mower is hard to maneuver around all the trees and misc yard stuff, plus the big tractor tears up the ground so I can't take it near the front yard.

I'm checking out the ZT's and was getting close to pulling the trigger on a Kubota Z, or possibly a Bad Boy Z. Without boring everyone with details, I ran across a nice fellow who was about to trade in his BX2200 for a new BX.

Sooooo, after looking it over well, we agreed at $3500. I bought it immediately. It has the 60" mmm, 500 hours, and looks brand new. What an awesome mowing machine!

Anyway, I am enjoying reading the forum about others experiences with their BX.

Totally agree.
I'll take your BX2200 in on trade toward my F2680E 60" rear discharge front mower. Have dropped my price to $13999.00.:)

$3500? That was a great buy. I'm not sure what they normally go for, but it seems like you almost stole it.

I agree with dodgeman. That is a STEAL.
Even a hard used one would get more $ than that. Congrats on the tractor and if you want to sell it for maybe $3700 let me know:))

Hey guys I need some advice,
I have a kubota BX2200 and I just replaced the shut off solenoid and the engine switch and I still don't have power on the red wire that goes conected on the solenoid. I traced the wire and it ends under the dash board on a 4 wire terminal. Now my question, should it be a relay of some kind connected on it and if it is what's it called?

Thanks for all the nice comments. The more I play with the bx2200, the more I like it. I decided to go ahead and do a complete fluids service on it, so I went by the Kubota dealer today, and bought oil, air, hydro, and fuel filters. Also bought 2.5 gallons of SUDT2, then over to Walmart for 5 qts of Shell 5w-40 synthetic.

Had to order upper and lower radiator hoses, but they should be in by Thurs. I already had 2 gallons of prestone long life, and distilled water on hand for the coolant change.

So, add another couple hundred to the price.
Sooooooo, what have I missed?
