New to me f550!

Picked up a 2001 f550 this morning. Nothing real fancy, 17.5k gvw, 12' pto dump, 7.3 powerstroke with 133k miles, manual transmission and roll up windows. I hope I can get another 75k-100k out of it over the next 10 yrs. Had to pay 12.5k for it, but lower mileage 7.3's are next to impossible to find locally. If it lasts, it will be worth it.

All in all, not a bad looking truck for a 10+ year old dump truck.

Just needs a brake controller and I'll be ready to go!

That is a nice looking truck for a 10 year old work truck. And, the 7.3 is the best motor ford put in those trucks! I doubt you'll be disappointed. Let's see some photos of it at work :thumbsup:

Very nice shape for 10 yr old truck.Up north nothing in that shape,usually all rusted out.For the same price.

Crossroads ford (commercial) in cary nc has a 4x4, crew cab, 12' dump, 7.3L with under 100k on it, IIRC, they were asking like 18k... May or may not be on the website yet, a salesman called me a couple days ago when they got it.

I checked after you mentioned it, they have a description but no picture. Too bad it's an automatic.
