New to me JD 790 2007 model 4WD

Hi guys. I have a new to me JD 790 with a few problems that I think are probably minor but would like to know for sure. 1.) The tie rod has an "S" curve in it. I will make the attempt to straighten it since I have a press. The other problem that I have discovered is that the front drive shaft is also bent. What is involved with removal and possible straightening or am I better off biting the bullet and replacing the shaft?

Welcome. Any good size town has a place that can re-tube your driveshaft.

Thanks, but shaft is solid about 3/4" in dia.
