HMM. I wonder what octagon barrel means. Possibly the end cap?

But it certainly looks just like that one except in grey.

Octagon barrel refers to the shape of the generator. Also indicates when Lincoln went cheap, which was about mid 1972. Lincoln started using aluminum in the windings instead of 100% copper. Octagon barrel SA-200's are not as sought after as the round barrel / 100% copper machines.
