new to me torches, how do they look?

bought this set this afternoon for 175.00 No names on the valves or torch it came with two brazing tips and 1 cutting tip. Can anyone identify the valves or torch for parts if i need them? Do you think Ill have problems getting them filled I have never own tanks before.

the valves are harbor freight just looked them up, I have some other ones laying around, maybe i payed to much?

if the tanks have papers and a recent hydro, they are worth 175 at least

Looks like the torch is a Harris or copy of a Harris. Lincoln owns Harris. Could tell for sure by looking at how the cutting tip seats. Harris is flat and has a wider ring around the end. Most other tips have a tapered part that fits into a seat in the torch head.

the torch is different then the valves, i think it is harris i checked google and matched up the seat. Do you think Im going to have problems getting the tanks filled?

There is one way to find out! I reach for the OA torch a lot whenever I'm making or fixing something. One of the most useful tools in the shed.

I think it depends on how picky your supplier is.

Here when going to a new supplier they want proof of ownership

To many bottles are stolen each year.

How do you know the guy you bought them from owned the tanks. If he leased them he would have transferred the lease to you. If owned he should have given you some paperwork. Check with the company whose name is on the tanks.

Cylinder leases aren't transferable but the smaller sizes of cylinders can often be purchased. Call the local welding supply before going in to check. Keep the name and number of the person you bought the cylinders from.
