Yes, gear would be no problem. Mine had the correct oil level. The Dealer said that at that angle, the oil pickup could have been scavenging. Angled the other way, the oil pickup would have oil all around it and no problem.

It keeps the AGs pulling in the correct direction for high traction. If you have to back back up a soft wet hill with the ags facing wrong you can quickly get compromised.

So what if you have turfs, r-4?

I can see if you have no place to turn around. In that case you don't have much choice. Personally I wouldn't feel comfy backing down a steep slope. My tractor is light in the front, if I go straignt down I know it's not doing an end over end. :D

Light front is your problem there. Big tires on the down[high ground force] end gives better traction even with turfs.
