Welcome from another Tennessean. I didn't know where McDonald was either. As usual, Google knew right where it was. I am in middle TN but I have a few hills to maintain. Get to know your equipment when you get it and go easy on the hills. If it doesn't feel safe that is probably because it is not

This will be my first spring in Tennessee and my first spring with a few acres to maintain. Most of it is a hill. I'm here to learn and share what I know.

If you have the need for a tractor, consider the terrain your going to use it on. Tractors made after October of 1976 where required to have a ROPS (Roll Over Protection System) which included a seatbelt. If your property has grades you might consider this requirement while looking at used tractors. Take care. -robert

Hi, I am new to TBN and will be new to Ten Mile, TN soon. (a few months God and attorneys willing) I come here to learn. I have never driven a tractor, and am not even sure I will need, or even be able to use one. (very steep hills) The only way to find out is to start reading and asking questions.
