I just had my first tractor, yanmar 2310d delivered to the house. Coincidentally, just found this site today. I am always wondering if i paid too much. The meter reads 34 hours and I was told it is 1034. The machine has the 3ph and a fel rated at 1000#'s. I paid $8650. Is this a good price? Where are the best places to buy implements? I have tons of fill dirt to move around my property. Which implement will work best. I have a lot of questions hope you can help.

There are so many variables but the 2310D is a nice tractor. It would depend on the condition, maintenance history, how equipped (FEL $2500. Option) and your location. Grey market tractors retail higher in the N.E. compared to the central and S.W. prices.

Did you buy from a dealer? If so, did he have or offer any implements? The first implement I would recommend is a box blade (or something compact and heavy) to counter-balance your FEL. Would like to see a picture of your tractor!

The going price of a good 2310D when I bought a year ago was in the $7000 to $8000 range with FEL included.
