So do you get to travel any with them as they have many locations?

After I retired, I went to work for any engineering firm that did most of their business with steel mills. So I travel more then than I did while in the AF including trips to other countries. In fact, I went to a steel mill in CA just before 9/11 and thought I was going to have to drive across the country to get back.

Yes if you go TDY you get to go with your jet. If we went to Florida for say a week, 1 or 2 jets would all of a sudden "break" lol so we would stay a bit longer. it was good times. When i was in Korea we didnt do much TDY. No other place around there to go..

I sure know how that was. We did the same if we could get away with it. We play that game to the hilt when we went to Australia for 5 extra days.
